COVID-19 POLICY

Please read our comprehensive COVID-19 policy prior to your appointment

• When you arrive at Patty Cairns Podiatry, we ask that you remain in your car until a member of staff comes out to collect you. We are not currently offering a waiting room service to reduce patient-to-patient contact.

• Our clinicians will continue to wear a face mask despite the change to government guidelines. We strongly encourage you to wear a face mask throughout your appointment to protect our staff and yourself.

• We will provide you with alcohol hand gel upon entry to the clinic and before you leave.

• Where possible, only one person at a time should attend their appointment.

• Please arrive at the time of your appointment, or a few minutes prior.

• Our Podiatry staff will be wearing appropriate PPE; mask, apron and gloves as required.  Individual risk assessments influence the use of face shields within our clinics. 

• We use antibacterial wipes before and after each consultation paying particular attention to the surfaces that clients and colleagues touch most regularly. We have also allowed additional time between appointments.

• Additional cleaning measures are in place.

• All of our clinical staff have received the Covid-19 vaccination.

• Clients are encouraged to Stay At Home if they have signs or symptoms of Covid-19. You will not be invoiced for missed appointments if you feel unwell and have informed us however we do ask that you provide us as much notice as possible to allow us to fill the missed appointment. 

• Clients will be screened at their appointment. 

• Finally, we’re in constant contact with all relevant authorities to make sure that we continue to do everything we can.
